Akatsuki no Yona has the greatest character development out of all recent manga/anime. It'll get only better with each episode. Each character will be fleshed out and will have their episode to shine. Good stuff from Pierrot, this adaptation of manga is amazing.

I'm not sure if this topic has been previously discussed in the forum, but I remember coming across a Tumblr post a few years ago that mentioned how Akatsuki no Yona drew inspiration from Korea's Three Kingdoms. The Three Kingdoms period was a significant historical era in Korea, spanning from the 1st to the 7th century.
Akatsuki no Yona is an Anime television series. It is based on a manga series of a similar name. Yona of the Dawn is also known as Akatsuki no Yona in Japanese. The television series is written by Mizuho Kusanagi; the manga was published in 2009, on August 5th, until today the Akatsuki no Yona Season 2 and volumes are being published.
